front audio

Hi

I have my front audio panel connected to the header on my mobo.
My mobo does have onboard sound but i use a seperate pci sound card.
The problem is the front audio panel will only work if i am using the onboard sound.

What am I doing wrong?

You need to plug it into the headers on your soundcard.

If its pluged into the onboard audio, it will output from that.
