OK I was just cleaning the dust out of my comp & noticed I'd not connected the front panel audio. Thinking I'd remedy this I looked up the manual....
However I'm not very experienced with this sort of thing & have got stuck.
The labels on the connectors I have are:
GND
SpkoutR
SpkoutL
ReturnR
ReturnL
MIC-BIAS
MIC-IN
I've got two possible configurations in the manual.
1) Azalia-compliant
PORT1L........................GND
PORT1R..............PRESENCE#
PORT2R.........SENSE1_RETUR
SENSE_SEND......................
PORT2L.........SENSE2_RETUR
2) Legacy AC'97-compliant
MIC-2..........AGND
MICPWR...........NC
Line out_R........NC
NC......................
Line out_L........NC
I guess there are naming conventions that I don't know about, wondering if anyone can help me match these all up?
