Front panel audio problems

Yo folks,

I've been having a playback echo in teamspeak 3 when using my front panel audio on my p8p67 pro. Repeats others voices and captures my in-game sound too.

Lost for what to do next, tried everything i can think of, using the rear ports solves the problem but it's an inconvenience to switch wires between headset/speakers.

Any ideas?

Im sure there is a way of going into the sound settings and changing it, but cannot remember at all. But i am sure it can be solved by doing it

Ruled at any connection issues with the front panel cable to the motherboard? You using HD audio?

As far as i can tell there's no connection issue, the socket is sat properly on it's port. I am using the HD audio yes.

Sound settings in windows or ts? Read lots online about this issue being solved through muting input devices in the sound manager but windows 7 seems different and I've not managed to sort it.
