Frozen beans on toast

It took me a while, but I have spotted the flaw.

For this to work properly, it cant be much thicker than something like a pasty.

Where am I going with this? Well.... for beans on toast to work, the bread needs to be UBER thick - if it isnt, its just the ultimate in lose. I think these will have thin bread, hence they will suck :(

good point a greggs pasty only just managed to fit in my toaster before it fell apart.

these are going to have to be really thin :(

This thread is making me feel Ill.

Baked beans!? What is wrong with you people.

Still, I was almost over it.... the someone mentioned Brown Sauce

and sic....beans on toast with cheese.....which order

1. toast bread, add beans, grate cheese
or
2. toast bread, add cheese then grill (for cheese on toast)...and then add beans?

beans in saucepan, add brown sauce. cook until sexy and hot. toast one side of the bread...apply beans/sauce mixture to the untoasted side of the bread. apply grated cheese to the top of this solution and grill until the cheese makes you feel moist and warm

I think you might be right! i can see the beans with lightsabers toasting the bread!

Sounds awesome!.. Obviously perfect for a quick snack/meal.. and (depending what they put in it!).. better than a Pot Noodle!! ..A win win situation.

Love the comment Beansprout about ordering them online! :p

well i have just experienced a taste sensation.

Having never had cheesy beans on toast, with the cheese attached to the bread ( a la 'cheese dans le toast') i decided to experiment.

Hoops would be better, plus extra bacon. I curse you OcUK, as I do not have the stuff to make it right now... gah.

Get yourself on IRC, btw :)

Open Tin Of Beans, Pour Into Saucepan, Add Butter - 30 Seconds
Pop 3 Slices Of Toast Into Toaster - 10 Seconds
Warm Beans Up - 5 Mins
Wait For Toast To Cook - 3 Mins
Butter Toast And Cut - 2 Mins
Pour Beans Onto Toast - 30 Seconds
Eat..... tbh its cheaper to do it yourself and you get more beans and more toast and it takes 5 mins or so.....
