I've got a few chicken legs and drumsticks that have been in the freezer for probably the best part of a year now. I used to defrost, cook and and consume my chicken pretty quickly and this is the longest I've ever keep frozen chicken. Do you think it'll still be ok to defrost and cook or is it wiser to throw it out?

It will be fine. Maybe some freezer burn but I doubt you’d even notice the difference in taste.

Forgot to tag, sorry! @robfosters Im not a vegetarian, I just rarely eat meat unless I’m willing to pay for the best (organic ideally as they have the best requirements for living outdoors, as an example). That does mean that meat is expensive, but if I can’t afford it then I don’t eat it.

Bulk, cheap chicken is the epitome of the attitude problem that we have with eating meat and the meat that we buy.
