There's a place in Newcastle that serves a lush strawberry beer that's nearly 9%...I got a bit confused the first time I ordered some.

"Pint of <blah>, please."

"Er...We're only allowed to serve it in halves..."

"Poofs. Two halves of <blah> and an empty pint glass, then."

I lvoe fruli too and tried it for the first time last week at some ernst and young drop in thing at the ropewalk (notts). Free bar so managed to have about 5 of these followed by some staropramen.

Great night :D

Only discovered this about 2 months ago at a new bar down the road from me here at uni. Then i found http://www.frulibeer.com/ and realised that i'd actually been to all the venues listed in the Leicester "trails".

:D

5.2% iirc but goes down far too easily.
