If you went to a cafe for a fry up, what would be your order?

I would want two rashes of crispy, smoked bacon. Two eggs with runny yolk. Two Cumberland sausages.
A portion of fried mushrooms. A large portion of salty fries to dip in the yolk. Two buttered white toast. Two crispy hash browns.
I wouldn't order black pudding, but if it was there, I would eat it.

All washed down with a decaf black coffee or two, no sugar.

I think I must be the only person in the entire world that does not like a fry up... I can do a bacon and egg sandwich.. but fry ups.. no thanks..

so in answer, I would order a cup of tea.. and be much happier without the actual fry up ;)
Not even a veggie equivalent?

gawd no... i like sausages on their own, or as a sandwich with bacon and egg, or any combination of those.. I like beans on toast.. love mushrooms.. etc.. so I like all the constituent parts..

I think it's just the overall greasyness of it taken as a whole.. I'm not the best with greasy food, unless hidden/soaked up in bread ;)... can't even stand battered food.. as it's just too greasy.. mostly!!

as I said at the top, probably just weird.. as everyone else seems to rave about Fry Ups..

2x Sausage (Ideally of a good quality)
2x Back bacon, crispy
2x Fried or poached eggs - Ideally runny
2x Hash browns
2x toast (White or brown, but ideally bloomer)
1x Fresh tomato, halved, fried or grilled
1x Black pudding
1x Baked beans
1x Mushrooms

Nice big hot cup of English breakfast tea, brewed strongly with a dash of semi skimmed milk, or ideally some oat milk and a small glass of juice. Orange (No pulp) or Apple.

Don't think yourself so special, countless people think the fry-up is dead. An old fashioned greasy unhealthy eating habit.

And many more would rather drop dead than enter a Cafe full of middle aged men ( usually tradesman or people who pretend to be one ) all eating a fry-up because they are generally incapable or cant be bothered to cook their own breakfast.
