FSB Reset

Hi

i had my Q6600 running at 3115Mhz @1.39v i was running core temp when i noticed it was only running at 2400Mhz i restarted and entered the bios the voltages were still the same but the clock frequencies had been reset i changed them back to the values i wanted and saved and exited the bios when it rebooted i entered the bios and the voltages were the same but the clock frequencies had been reset again.:confused: i have reset the cmos and it has made no difference i am running on a striker 2 formula

any suggestions?

It should show on startup.

Try lowering your overclock and see how that goes, it could be an unstable overclock.
 
It sounds like an unstable clock, What motherboard are you using? try lowering the clock a good bit to see if its that, if it boots you can then put up the FSB a bit at a time until you get problems, and then lower it back down to the work values. or loosening the ram timings.
