Hi

Been getting into fsx again lately, got some addons for it, looks pretty amazing :)

FSGenesis Mesh & Landclass

Flight Environment X

Ground Environment X Enhanced

Active Sky X

Ultimate Terrain X USA

Got all the above, also :p :D

Is that the latest 1.05 GEX, and version 2 FSGenesis ? Have you also got UTX Europe yet, if so how good is it ?

I installed 1.05 the day before last, but haven't got around to playing it yet :o
 
Stick a full AI traffic pack and PMDG 747-400X and you'll be lucky to get 15fps in the air, 10 on the ground.

Then install yourself some decent airports like Aerosoft's EGLL/EDDF and you'll have yourself an unplayable simulator.

VFR scenery is ok- have wales, but you disable autogen buildings?

Its FEX that make the clouds look nice, activesky just sorts the weather

I have autogen on max, no vfr scenery in my pics, i think it looks too flat

Yes its 1.05 gex, looks rly nice especially with the utx-specific stuff installed as well, havnt got utx europe yet, i just stick to flying in the us

It is fsgenesis v2, sorted nearly all of the airport plateau problems but it only covers west coast and like the northern border of the usa atm

btw these are the fex themes im using, seems a nice combo
(cloud=ionisphere, water=depths of realism, sky=naturalistic bliss wateranim=calm orbx)

hmm thats a bit pricey, only addon i got atm is the pilatus pc12, nice little turboprop

Thinking about getting a good addon airliner, dont mind the default ones but the night vc's totally suck, no backlit gauges :( looks stupid
