Ftp & email working but no Web Access ???

Hi,
Ftp & email is working but I have no Web Access using I.E. or Firefox

This problem keeps happening to me every couple of days & so far the only way round it is to run System Restore which is a pain.

Anyone know what is happening & how to solve it?

I am running Windows Vista

The nearest I can find on google is that it might be a Winsock problem & on XP there is a tool called WinsockXPfix that will solve this, but is there something similar for Vista?

Don't you just love it when someone asks a question then answers it in the next breath? I do Being serious for a moment I don't know about the repair under Vi$ta - maybe a quick google or a search on MS's knowledge base?

Google is my friend Here's how you do it:

Click on Start button.
Type Cmd in the Start Search text box.
Press Ctrl-Shift-Enter keyboard shortcut to run Command Prompt as Administrator. Allow elevation request.
Type netsh winsock reset in the Command Prompt shell, and then press the Enter key.
Restart the computer.
