Hi All

I am currently using SmartFTP and I am wondering if there is anything better out there and free?

Cheers

old addage you get what you pay for, since you choose not to pay , you wont get the same support or quality of a paid version, i use and paid for flashfxp, the best ftp program bar none

jsut my £2 worth

depends on waht you need to do with it, if its occasionally uploading/download files to a site then a a web browser is free! (not saying its good, but its free though)

if its mass up/downloading, get a real ftp client: i prefer bpftp as i've used it for ages.

Try and find an old version of WS_FTP Limited Edition - that was free for home use. At least mine is, which is version 5.08.
