FTTC How can I find out if it will be run to my CAB?

I know this is an old thread but I noticed a nice new FTTC cabinet appear next to my normal cabinet today :D
I wonder if this means I will be able to get it before the 30th of June

My street doesn't seem to appear in either Of the two documents listed. FFTC has been rolled out at my exchange but is not available for me to order. Still in not too bothered as I get 20mbit/1mbit on ADSL2+ but did fancy doubling that if the price was similar.

I don't even know where my cab is. The exchange is within a few hundred metres but I get the line from a telephone pole. I suppose I could trace the poles until I find the cab, but it could just go direct to the exchange and could mean FTTC would never happen.

I would hazard a guess judging by your current speeds that you are directly connected to the exchange

Hmm, using the links above as I am planning on moving back to my parents house in March which is on a different exchange that only gets about 4mb on ADSL Max (Not even ADSL2 enabled so will be a big drop from the 24mb I currently get as I live within 300 meters of my exchange).

Using the postcode the exchange is getting enabled for FTTC on 01/03/12 and it estimates 25-35mb but if I use my parents phone number it doesn't come up with anything. Does this likely mean their cabinet is not getting enabled? They are roughly 2.5-3km from the exchange and I am dreading dropping 20mb off my speed :(

Wait I'm confused... When I searched for my exchange on the excel sheet, first result it finds is a cabinet with the same postcode as my home?

Also what does "Percent Lines", "Uplift", and "Phase" mean?

Yep this is the line for my parents postcode:

NDBAL BALDSLOW TN354PA {NDBAL}{P8} 0 100% 5.13 8a Yes FTTC

I'm hoping this is good due to the 100%?

Edit: Just seen the extra bits!

I think the 100% means all lines in that post code go to that cab so if its being upgraded then you will definitely get it. Think the 8a is phase ie when they plan for it to be done/active.

If that's the case, then does that mean I have a good chance of getting FTTC? Exchange will have FTTC by March, but when I check the BT DSL checker it doesn't mention anything about FTTC, so I assumed my cabinet wasn't planned for the upgrade. Percent lines is 100%, Uplift is 6.8, Phase is 6a and Deployed mark Yes according to the document.

EDIT: Found a newer document and says Percent lines is 96%...
