It is single chip, thats the point , they have combined two GPU's into a single chip a bit like a Core 2 Duo is two CPU cores.

Single die GX2 power is nothing to be sniffed at.

Accoring to the ATi fanboys round here, Nvidia are selling you a 7900 or something, while ATi's new gear will do holographic displays 3 feet in front of your monitor in 16000x10000.

If the rumor is even true, a dual G92B on a single die may not even need to be SLI enabled. If both cores are accessing a single block of memory, then it could be effectivly the same as having a single gpu with 192 stream processor and 32 rops (or whatever it's final spec is). They do mention that its got a 512bit memory bus, so hopefully that is a 1x512 config, and not a 2x256 you can only really use half the memory sli config.

I really want to be able to play through Crysis (which I still have not played other than the demo) at high res at a decent FPS with the new card.

If you've already played a really good game like COD4 then you're in for a disappointment. Crysis is not a great game. It starts good and has some very pretty graphical moments then goes downhill fast and credibility flies out the window when you start having to take on dayglo flying jellyfish!
