Just me or have they increased a little bit again?

Do you think we will ever see fuel prices at under £1 a litre again?

They decreased by a couple of pence, now they're starting to creap back up. The only way they'll drop below the pound is if there's a media frenzy again.

Many places around us are now selling at 109p so it won't be long before we hit 110p.
I said we'd see 120p by Christmas - maybe not quite.
Remember that VAT goes up at the end of the year which will add around 3p per litre.

I filled up with Tesco 99 at Hatfield on Sunday for 101.0p/l. Didnt realise until they said how much it was at the till. They had the normal petrol at 104.9 I think so someone obviously made a mistake that day !

but when VAT goes up shouldn't duty come down to stem the affects ;)

oh no i don't think so.

Someone should market a device that 'hacks' fuel pumps. Like the ones for fruit machines.
Small enough to conceal in your filler cap, you place it on the pump and it makes it count up at half speed, or something.
I mean it doesn't have to work or anything, but I'm sure they'd sell well.

I'm the only person in the world who thinks fuel prices are reasonable. And yes, everyone hates me for it.

Put it this way, it's bearly more expensive than coca cola or bottled water!
