Nice shot. There's something too impressive about the moon to get bored of occasional photos of it.

Indeed! The Moon really has taken a battering over the years.

I tried my 300 f/4 with 1.4x TC but I didn't like the results (not had a lot of success withe 1.4x TC) so I used my 100-400. I just with I had a 600 f/4!

It's not really the moon, it's a greyscale of an orange.

Very nice shot though.

haha, I knew I wasnt the only one. I was doing astrophotography last night too, I took the moon via Prime lens, and eyepiece projection, I also took an exposure of M31 Andromeda but its pretty faint. Also I saw quite a few satellites reflecting the sun and caught one's trail for about 20 sec. Nice kit you have there Gord.
