I got a 7900GS and a Sony LCD TV as a second display, but when i play a video with full screen video mode on the Nvidia control panel, the TV just says out of Sync (TV connected via VGA) and nothing plays on it.. but it displays games and the desktop fine.

Any ideas as to why? Surly the Refreshrate of the signal dosnt change when you play a video on it??

Make sure the video output is set to the proper resolution for your TV, and that the TV is capable of displaying whatever format the video is recorded in (1080p, 1080i, 720p, etc)

I have tried a multitude of videos.. from some rubbish 300x200 Quicktimes to some monster 720p ones..

The TV is capable of 720p and runs at 1280x768 resolution..

so should be fine no??

I assumed it rescale the video to the correct res if it was over the max anyway?

It says SONY TV..

And its set as CLONE desktop mode. The Res for the second display is 1280 x 768

And in the Full Screen Video section it says use "Secondary" display for full scren video.

Have you tried the TV on it's own, with the monitor disconnected? I don't know why it's not working as it is, maybe someone else with a similar setup would know more.
