I've taken a LiteOn SSD out of a little PC, is there anything I can do to do some full diagnostics on it to make sure it's working properly? Not just a smart test or a quick check but a full diagnostic run?

Ta.

Myself I'd check the SMART data with CrystalDiskInfo and check it's health there. I'd then check the speeds are roughly on par with the results shown in online reviews - severe deviations may indicate a faulty drive. All being well, it might not be a bad idea to check for any available firmware updates for the drive, to help ensure that it's running as it should be.
These things all show perfectly OK but every so often it failed to boot with an error that points towards the SSD. But while running, it's fine and CrystalDiskInfo (and DriveDX because I've plugged it into a Mac) all show no errors. That's why I'd like to do a full test if possible.

When this happened, I'd just reboot and it would go away, every time without fail.

I do have another use for this so I'd like to know if it's good or bad.
