Does anyone have a switch that is fully compatible, I have a fitting I cannot put Hue bulbs in but want to control via Hue.

I have https://www.samotech.co.uk/products/zigbee-light-switch/ already, and it appears as bulb in Hue and I can control it.. but it's not 100% compatible. There are issues with the state syncing to the rest of the system and it doesn't work properly when controlling the whole room because of this.

I also have https://www.samotech.co.uk/products/zigbee-dimmer-switch-hue-compatible/ in the same 'room', controlling another light and it works perfectly. But I do not want to dim the second fitting.

Anyone know of a switch that works properly?

Ah that's a bummer. I see now, you're wanting something to integrate into your Hue system but I'm more familiar with integrating Hue stuff into general zigbee :)

yes I think you have to get a hub like Ikea/smarthings , or pc sticks, which fully support interface on smart switches - it's intentional on philips part,
like them not having smart switches for 3rd party dumb bulbs, other thread;

(rather than no neutral with the bypass mechanisms that necessitates, I'm more of a fan of putting the smart switch in the ceiling rose itself)

First be 100% sure on your light fitting. I've recently got hooked on the Hue full unit lights with temp control. They all come with hue switches and one of these SONOFF blocks wouldn't give you dimmer or colour temp control.

I'm not sure how accurate it is to say it's intentional on Phillips' part, but it doesn't really change anything. The dimmer I have is 3rd party and works perfectly, it's just the switch that does not. 3rd party plugs exist that present as bulbs to Hue and work perfectly too - so it can obviously be done..

I do have a 'non-Hue' Zigbee network and run Home Assistant to supplement what Hue does, but the core of it needs to remain reliable (and so, Hue)!

Maybe the solution is to gut an Innr ZigBee plug and wire that in, maybe. No option to put this in a ceiling rose as it's for a mirror in a bathroom. I could potentially find space in the loft tho as the wiring runs up that in the landing wall and back to down for the mirror.

Potentially, but I'd need to ensure it doesn't do any dimming!

Yeah - these are just for switching mains to the fitting. I don't expect them to dim or change colour temperature.
