Fully Modular PSU's?

Different Manufacturers Code: P1-650X-NLG9 (OCuK) to P1-650X-CAH9 - on XFX site (which is pants). Might be worth checking in the customer service section, im sure Ace modder or 5UB will confirm.

Yeah I noticed that too, but tbh the photo on ocuk could just be cropped....

I'm honestly not sure. Doing a search on the codes is coming up with a semi modular psu on other sites, although the reviews here seem to suggest fully modular.

This one? Looks fully modular to me. Could be you were looking at a core edition rather than the XXX.

It's a Seasonic, so yes it'll be better than the ocz, to me anyway Seasonic's are by far and away the best make of PSU available, I currently have the XFX platinum 1000w jobby but only went for it because I couldn't get a Seasonic direct from OCuK, and it's a rebranded Seasonic PSU anyway. The PSU I had before was a 750w Seasonic and its still going strong 5 years and 3-4 builds later.

If you read the reviews one of them says this :

Paired this PSU with a 2600K (currently at 4.5GHz stable on air) and EVGA 580GTX, and it gives me no problems. It's very quiet, (I can't hear it in fact) and does its job well. Maybe a little overkill on the packaging (could've dropped the price a bit perhaps?).

I only wish that ALL the cables were modular, like the ATX and the PCI-E one.

I had read that review, the latest ones however state that it IS fully modular.

My Model came with a grey fan..not the green shown in the picture..(which i was looking forward too! D: ):*

modular is great as dont need to hide the 7 milllion cables from my old psu.. this was actually bought to test out a faulty motherboard.. so wasnt necessary but i prefer this to the non brand otherone.

is powering a 2500k, gtx 460 12gb ram, 2hdds, 1 ssd and about 10 case fans (cm 690) and hasnt skipped a beat or struggled at all. should be fine if i add another 460 later on aswell!

so to sum it up.. if your looking for a solid good performing branded psu! and dont want to overpay for it..you could do a lot worse than get one of these :)

that only states modular tho?

I've been caught out there before too.

If it isn't fully modular, and is the same as my old Seasonic, then I "think" the only connected cables are the mobo, 1 sata and 1 pci-e cables. I don't remember having any cables not connected anyway. Might be worth thinking about as they are the best PSU's around at the mo.

Have a BeQuiet Darkpower Pro and an Enermax Modu87+, both fully modular, both a bit expensive and both quiet and rock solid.

Heard good things about the current Modular Seasonics.
