Was out all weekend offroading and thought you nice people may enjoy some pics.

One of the clubs I belong to hold an event yearly called Cheapfest and is purely for Jeeps, although we do get the odd interloper who tags along :)

Had a brill weekend, wasn't initially looking forward to it being so tired with all the exercise but 170 miles later Stourport on severn is a lovely little town and the B&B was spot on and dirt cheap.

Went out on the easy runs on sat morning which had some pretty interesting climbs and decents, sat afternoon Trent one of the guys I went with dragged me out to go into the forest which is the hard section, he had a yank with him called JJ and they turned off the main section and just disapeared from sight…I crawled to the edge where they'd gone and looked down a 100foot drop which was about 40 degree's saw them at the bottom and just stopped, bum cheeks flapping away. Over the cb came, "it's easier than it looks you know" So I gripped the seat with my bum cheeks and trickled over, well from then on we was going up and down stuff even with two good legs I'd have trouble getting up or down.

I was totally amazed at what the Jeep can do once again, only had a problem on one section but just managed to get out before the tow turned up and was well happy.

Sadly the pics don't show how steep the climbs where, the image with the two Jeeps going down that was about 45degree's

Suzuki SJ ;)

Cheap, solid, reliable, fun...

*n

had a crappy little suzuki on holiday this year as we were staying in the first villa finished on a huge site in turkey - was a really robust solid little thing, and you could nail it up serious inclines like no-ones business, did things i wouldn't be able to walk up :D

Wasn't exactly comfortable though, the suspension made every bump 10x worse, and it had holes through from the passenger footwell into the engine and road! seriously toastey feet!

hahahaha loving that pic ^^ the trees are all at an angle someones just rotated the picture to make it look like a hill ROFL :p

no one said it was a hill  it was professional photographer that took the piccy, and that part of the course was a Cat 1 track, the kind driven by WRC cars...

in fact, the "only" hilly bits were through forest tracks, about 2 metres wide, at ~70mph, for ~5 miles...

When the course is 8 miles long, and you're lapping ~9 1/2 mins, on terrain you struggle to walk through in parts, then you realise its pretty impressive :)

Was more than enough exhiliration for me tbh... :)

Go get another one you won't regret it, I could not live without my one. :p
It's going to happen. Once the wife goes back to work, we are going to get another. We both miss it. It's funny, when I got it she absolutely hated it. When we sold it, she got really upset.

Did you used to go out in it without her? Maybe she's annoyed that you're now spending time with her? ;)
