Funny MOT comments

Will be interesting when he goes to sell it, and the potential buyer does an Mot history check

I wonder if someone has recently found a way to search these type of comments, been getting sent loads of these over the last week or so

I assume it was mates mucking about with known parties, or, someone was about to be fired/quitting their job anyway or something like that. In any case, brings disrepute to the test station. Poor form. Not really that funny either sorry. :O

I don't have access to chatgpt right now but I wonder if something like this works:
"Enter random number plates into this website and search for any data returned with the word "idiot" presenting a link to this data as a url"

Chatgpt can’t access the internet so that shouldn’t work in Theory. Bing AI can but that is a lot of queries to perform

DVSA tends to look very poorly on stuff like this - incorrect/invalid data on the MOT can result in quite heavy sanctions even possibly prosecution for the tester even after they've left employment if it was deliberate.

Not sure why they don't use word filters on the site, but you can put pretty much what you want..

That was on a training test, so it won't get seen by the DVSA

For some reason I always thought it was non free text and basically just select from a pre populated list whichever thing was closest to the issue.

I'd always assumed similar especially how often I'd see the same stock description for variations of a fault.

They are a bit more circumspect these days, this occurred almost next door to a friend's MOT testing station when two inspectors wound up the wrong guys...

Is it any wonder the motor trade has a bit of a reputation for dodgy characters ;)

I find it weird how police will turn up to help TV licence goons at the door of a rowdy tennent. But won't be on hand to keep the peace for this kind of thing, which is a much more dangerous situation where they can potentially be mobbed.
