You're missing my point completely by the sounds of it. I'm not talking about skills on the pitch, I'm talking about attitude and manner both on and off it.

When I said Henry should take a leaf out of Berbatov's book I meant in how he handles and presents himself. Modest, cool, gracious you know what I mean? A bit of class about the guy ;) Who doesn't like Berb's?

Who doesn't hate how arrogant Henry is? His goal celebrations especially, I'd cringe if a Spurs player did that and that's the truth! Ever seen him battle? Wear his heart on his sleeve? No, he goes missing and sulking like the self important ponce he is. Has a poor season and tries to big himself up and get publicity by saying Spurs have no right to celebrate a last gasp equalizer when we're battling for 5th place and a UEFA spot? Who does he think he is? Like I said, no class.

Green eyed monster? You can keep him ;)

World Cup, unbeaten season, could go to ANY club in the world...loves Arsenal and states it often and you see it on the pitch. You cannot be that successful without having passion.

As for a poor season he has been injured you NONCE!

Jeez go eat some lasagne or something :eek: :eek:

My take on Henry, quality player, that cannot be denied but has gone downhill on the class rating over the past couple of years. He used to be quite modest but he now gets more & more upset with players when things don't go his way instead of having a laugh & getting on with it. He makes a point of rubbing it in peoples faces when he does something brilliant whereas he used to have a normal celebration with the Arsenal fans. In short while he is still a brilliant player, he has become a bit of an arrogant goit sadly.

Berbatov on the other hand, while quiet, shows his class on the field. & yes, methinks we will come back in a few years (should we keep hold of him & others) & look down the league at Arsenal & chuckle softly ;))

He has a winning attitude, which is the most important thing. As I often like to say, it's not arrogance if you really are that ******* good :)

People sometimes forget events like the Cup final vs Saints, where Lundekbaum was hauling him back in the first few mins but he stayed on his feet because he wanted to score, not get an opponent sent off or win a penno. That's the kind of attitude which endears him to football fans in general.

A poor season perhaps, but he has still scored the same amount of league goals this season as Berbatov.

He certainly wears the heart on his sleeve. Heck I've got a picture on my wall showing he does.

I can understand why people hate him, it's because he is just so good :)
 
All comments about Henry being World Class are how good he is just makes my point even more valid. He's among the best strikers in the world yet he feels the need to sink to the level he did? He's massively respected, he should show respect back and not act like he does, esecially when things don't go his way.

It just shows a lack of class.

BY HIS STANDARDS has he had a great season, good season or bad season?
