funny temp readings

hi guys i am currently running the rig in my sig but my idles temps are

44 40 40 37

load temps are 65 63 63 60

using coretemp/realtemp/HWmonitor

however my bios and ASUS PC PROBE ll show it as 15c less or there abouts

any ideas guys?

idle temps are high but load looks fine!! what have you got TjMax set to in the temp proigrams?

i used to get load temps like that but with my TRUE idle under 30...was the winter though, what's ambient temp like?

in my house i would say erm at best 25c lol its been very warm recently but i guess im happy atm but ive hit the wall at 444 fbs cos i got BSODs at 450

but i guess the BIOS's reading isnt relibale then?

The C1 is a pain to clock, had mine at 3.8 on that board, had to bump N/B up a bit, but i had it under water!! was able to get FSB of 450 though before i had water it just used to crash under testing.

remember BIOS gives you the Tcase temp not TJunction.

well i thin ki will just have to leave it as it is then init im happy with 3.77 and somewhere near 12secs for super pi

and its been primed for 7.5 hrs so just leave it for now

3.77 is still a 1Mhz boost

could probably push for more have you messed about with GTL voltages?

nope duno what they are but ive uninstalled ASUS AI looked like a lot of BS as if didnt work unless i load default values lol

anyways erm hmm well i think i will try resesting the CPU but this was also about the same temps i was gettin on my old motherboard so hmmm

but yeh what are these GTL voltages?
