Furnished?

Looking at moving into a place in July with 3 double bedrooms. How much would it cost to furnish a house with 3 double bed?

We have a 2 seater sofa, what else would we need?

3 beds with covers etc...wardrobes...lamps....draws...? Thats proberly it for very simple bedrooms. HOWEVER for the whole house you are looking at washing machine/dishwasher tables/fridge/freezer more sofas/tv etc

Nothing. To begin with scrounge and beg.

put the word out to everyone you know asking if they have anything for it. check local adds for free to collect. Visit the tip and ask nicely. Check ebay for 99p local items with no bids.

Then you can buy nice stuff as when you need.

Get on freecycle, there are tonnes of people giving stuff away. I gave away two brand new wardrobes a couple of weeks back, two chests of drawers, a lovely old oak desk and then some chairs. I see tonnes more get offered too, just make sure you are quick as the good stuff gets snapped up very quickly.

They had those in some hostels in australia and new zealand. It was supposed to be for 'hot drinks only' I used to fill a pan full and do veg, potatoes etc instead of waiting for water to boil.
£2000 though
