Furyx wont output to 144hz

Upgraded from a 290x to a furyx

Used the same displayport cable on the furyx but it wont output to 144hz

I'm using a Benq XL2730Z

Is there a setting or something as surely it cant be the cable it worked fine on the 290x :confused:
 
Not sure if on Win 10, but for me on 7, its in the Control panel, Display Options, Advanced Settings :)

It may have reverted back to 60 with changing the card, and just need redoing to 144.

You say that you just swapped the cards over. Did you uninstall the drivers and replace them with Fury X drivers. Even if you did you could try removing the drivers and try another install.
 
I've sorted it

Cant believe what it was :o

The Division was set to run in full screen windowed mode and it will only let you select 60hz :o

Changed to fullscreen mode and 144hz was selectable again. doh :p

I get that with the Division. Have to alt enter a lot to enter windowed fullscreen to get rid of the black screen. If you alt enter again it should put you back to Fullscreen. I don't know if you get this bug but everyone i know suffers from it on load up now and then.
