They did, then as soon as they were back on the air every second episodes B-plot (and every thirds main plot) is about them being on the outs. Apparently you can't have a happy ending while the show is on the air.

Yeah they have this wired they are and they aren't relationship. It gets mentioned that are actually together once in a while but apart from that it doesn't seem like they're different towards each other. At least they showed It once!

Could never get into this series and I love sci Fi, I think family guy ruined other cartoon series for me lol. Still love Simpsons though

I read this thread from the start to begin with and was very very confused.
You can't do Futurama without Bender, he's the main character.
I hope they offer him whatever he wants because they're going to make a lot of money from it regardless.
