future build

Okay. What have you bought, what are you going to buy and what is your budget? Looking through this thread there's a few things you might wanna change 
i have already bought the
ASUS P8H61-M mobo
G skill 8GB RipJaw gaming series DDR3 1333Mhz memory
and bought my self an LG LED HD 21.5" monitor
and i will be sticking with the Intel i5 2400 3.10GHz and Windows 7 home premium 64bit
dont really see the need to change many items as i am not intending to play a lot of games as such just every now and then. i watch a lot of online tv . and do some photography work on the comp nothing serious.
budget is mainly based around what i term as silly money , as gaming is not high up on my list so dont want to spend huge amounts ( which is understandable ) as i have other hobbies which are more important to me so the money goes into that more.
got to say as far as OC this is not something i am interested in as i have never done it before but i used to have a friend who OC big time and killed several of his systems. he would just build systems for the fun of it and never use them or sell them on.
but it was suggested to me by several people to join this forum even though i do not want to OC as it is one of the best UK computer forums.

i understand, I was actually going to suggest ways to save your money!
For instance, as above I'd get the i3:

It's "only" dual core but very capable and has hyper threading (so it "acts" like a quad core). The difference is £50, depends what your budgets like but I'd consider saving the £50 or improving something else

ah was worrying you were going to tell me to chuck more money at more expensive parts lol.
really with my budget it is only restricted to what i want to spend per item as i am in no real rush to build it , just my mum wants all my old parts for hers as what i have now is lightning speeds to what she runs from her off the shelf system she bought several years ago lol.

Been busy with other bits and bobs and of course buying in parts for the build.
I currently have Asus mobo P8H61 - M
Arctic freezer pro 7 rev 2
OCZ 600watt modxstream psu

EVGA GTX 460 SC 1024mb GDDR5 gpu
Windows 7 home premium OEM
i bought a Sony cd rom drive cant remember specs
and Arctic T11 case
and the last thing i need is the CPU.
I also did some cable management with simple once only cable ties nothing fancy.
now i have a friend who is trying to convince me i should overclock the cpu. but i have read to many horror stories about it going wrong . i know my mobo has oc feature to stop any real errors but i am still slightly scared to attempt oc lol.
