Future Car and quick Quotes.

I insured mine at 21 with 0ncb for £1500 (this was 4 years ago though!)

At 22 with 1ncb is was £900. But as said that can vary massively depending on other circumstances. Best bet is to get a few quotes from companies such as Chris Knott, Greenlight, Adrian Flux, Bell, Admiral etc and see for yourself. Those are the companies I've personally found best.

How much you looking to spend on the car itself?

If you're set on a GTi6 check out www.306gti6.com

Is 8.5 seconds to 60 true? That is sloooow for 167bhp!

Fast 2L Turbo which is easy to insure....

I've been quoted cheaper insurance at 20 no ncb, just checking on-line, fully comp, volvo 850r (manual) with uprated brakes.. for a few hundred cheaper.. and they are 0-60 in around 7 seconds.. (there's lower and higher quotes)

I don't understand what you're trying to say...

It's a completely different car... Each car has different sort of loadings depending on the car's claim history, it's cost, cost to repair etc etc. I could find other faster cars to insure cheaper too... plus you could live in the woods like Jez does saving you a HUGE amount of oney!

Try getting a quote on a Manchester City Centre postcode ;)

Yes they are quicker. Typically 7.2sec for the GTi6 and 6.9sec for the Rallye (Evo and owners agree). Peugoet do their tests in "real world conditions". I think they have 2 people a full tank and luggage when doing the tests or something.

They're not fantastic traffic light gp cars though imo, 1st and second are pretty long. Much better on the move using the 6 speed gearbox keeping it on the boil. Top end of 2nd through to 4th is a joy :D

Yes, well passive rear steering. Pretty odd sensation as you can only feel it when pushing on so not like mechanical 4WS systems. Some people like it, others have is replaced with solid mounts.
