Future Proof Upgrade?

Going to buy this,

CPU - Intel Core i7-4770K 3.50GHz

MOBO - Asus Z87 SABERTOOTH Intel Z87

GPU - Gigabyte GeForce GTX 780Ti

and sell this,

CPU - i5 2500k

GPU - SLI 670s 2gb

Hoping to get 500 for all of it!

Would this be a future proof upgrade or a complete waste of money?
