Did you cool the VRM heatsink when overclocking? Some guides I have been reading up on regarding overclocking these AMD boards has suggested doing this.
Also is there any difference once overclocked between the 8320/8320e/8350? Or is it just that the 8350 can reach a 'higher' clock?

The M5A99X EVO was quite cool on the VRM's as it had a good heatsink and the Phanteks cooler kept it quite cool.
I am currently using the Siverstoone HE01 cooler below with an FX9590 at stock 4700/5000MHz in a crosshair mobo. It keeps it cool and is quiet on the low fan setting. It is a big cooler though.
Suggestion for an eight core upgrade and cooler. The 8320 is capable of similar clocks to the 8350. If you can get a good deal SH for any 83xx CPU, it would be a reasonable upgrade over the earlier series. October is not too far away IF the ZEN makes its debut and more options may be available.
My basket at Overclockers UK:
- 1 x Silverstone SST-HE01 Heligon CPU Cooler= £44.99
- 1 x AMD Piledriver FX-8 Eight Core 8320 Black Edition 3.50GHz (Socket AM3+) Processor - Retail= £119.99
Total: £174.88
(includes shipping: £9.90)
