Hey i have a fx 8320 at 3.5ghz with stock fan untill i can get a better cpu cooler if i do prime the tempture gets to about 67c? is that to hot? and a other weird thing is if i overclock it to 4ghz the tempture seems to end up about the same 67 68?

Dont use the stock cooler for any other than running stock.

What case and ram did you have? I would look back at a previous thread but im to lazy.
 
main thing im kinda wondering is because people seem to so called be getting high fps with a lot lower spec pc then me so i thought maybe its the cpu getting overheated and lowing its cpu power? im getting like 40 to 50 fps on high with the fx 8350 r9 290 8gigs ram not sure if people on steam just say they get high fps when they dont lol?
 
It is a good heatsink, there's so many to pick from such as the Matterhorn pure, or Raijintek themis or Bequiet etc
 
Hey will any AM3 fit a mobo thats am3+ im guessing they will??

That silverstone says am3 not am3+ ?? i get paid Wednesday

just want to get the best one for like £30 £40 like you said so many lol confusing hoping there not hard to install since iv not installed a big heat sink before with using back plate etc lol always been my brother who installed it

definitely want to overclock it to like 4ghz or 4.5
