It was a really hot Summers day too so that wouldn't have helped although the tarmac was nice and grippy which did help.
R5's aren't really about big BHP numbers, they're just so light that you don't need it.

RE the 5 second thing. The 700HP Dolly does 0-100 in 6.2 seconds, would that do?
Without nitrous oxide, too. That's another 200HP on top.
All I need to do is find a suitable engine. And then weld the shell solid. And.....
