So should I be banned for having differing opinions from Mr Poole? And stating said opinions?
As I've said before, I've tried to get on with Mr Poole, but unless he's back-pedalling in a post where I've confronted him, he's always done it better than me or has something one up-manship to say. That kinda stuff grinds you down after a while, and I've had to put up with it a damn lot since I've joined here from him.
I have tried *so* many times to write on here, in this forum about so many equal experience's, in Rock music, only to come back the next day and see Poole rubbish them, about how he's done it better ... and I'm getting sick of it. DAMN sick of it .....
I once posted a pic of Phil Lynot on my old Bike in one of Poole's threads about Lizzy, no comment from him, surprise surprise ... I just wanted to contribute to this community, kinda show I'd been around too, but it always seems as if I'm competing with his bloated ego? It always starts well enough, but soon degenerates into ... well I did this better than you. earlier kinda stuff ... yadda yadda yadda.
Then he wonders why I go away from here for weeks on end?
I saw tons of bands too, from 70's Rainbow (Dio, Powell, Blackmore) right through to present times, heck as recent as Rush in 2004, Poole was slagging that tour off, as I say it grinds you down after a while, and this post is the culmination of all that.
I'm sick fed up of his bloated opinions, and if I get banned for being the odd one out, then so be it.
I'm not agreeing with him, for the sake of it any more.
