One of my sticks of RAM appears to have died.
I have "G.Skill Ripjaw 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit (F3-12800CL9D-4GBRL)"
Tried both sticks in different slots only shows 2GB installed which rules out slot failiure, tried just one stick and wouldnt boot so i guess the stick has died.
The G.Skill RMA info says "G.SKILL recommends for customers to first contact their vendors for faster replacement or refund transactions." so should i try with OcUK first to see if i can return it?
I only have the backing sheet from the packaging as i had no where to store the rest of the plastic (being at uni) and i dont know if this is a problem.
Any help much appreciated.
