G.SKILL Trident Z Neo F4-3600C16D-32GTZN

After I missed the 8 pack price reductions, I've been looking at other B-Die RAM. I've found somewhere selling G.Skill F4-3600C16D-32GTZN (Damaged box) for £185.
Is this stuff definitely B-Die before I commit? I was told the 3200 CL14 was better binned but from reading on here they may be the same just different XMP?

3600MHz 16-16-16 is B-die.
If only first timing (CAS latency) is 16 and rest something higher, then it can be also some other chips with everything squeezed out.

It's true that 14 cycle timing at 3200MHz is actually tiny bit tighter: ~8.75ns vs ~8.89ns
But higher bandwidth of 3600MHz clock compensates that in most situations.
Also in case of Ryzens 3600MHz gives faster InfinityFabric speed with XMP settings.
Though of course 3200MHz CL14 kit should be overclockable to at least that same 3600MHz 16-16-16.

Thanks Esat, I would likely be looking at tightening the timings on them however it doesn't state what the secondary timings are.
Looking up the part number does seem to indicate that they are B-die though.
I was going to buy them and utilise the returns if they weren't but part of me just thinks what's the point as I've got Ballistix at the moment running 3733mhz CL16 (forgot the other timings)

Micron Rev.E gets very close to Samsung B-die in most timings.
Though B-die scales very well with voltage... For as long as you can keep it cool.
B-die simply hates any higher temperatures and destabilizes fast.

Yeah after reading about the Micron Rev E, Thats why I went fro it as B-die was pretty pricey then.
I'm a little unsure what to do. Either just work on tightening the timings a bit more or try out some B-die for tighter timings.

Performance wise coming Zen3 refresh with 3D stacked extra cache would be bigger improvement, if purpose is to keep current platform as long as possible.

Why not get this for £210?

This is what mine is currently running. I have recently disabled GDM and am still testing but so far so good. Its been at 3800C14 for over a year

I don't see the point in getting the GSkill trident Neo, unless you manage to find and get the 3600C14 variant. I hear the Gskill Trident Neo is the same RAM as the 8 pack, maybe just with fancy RGB which looks discusting IMO. Also, not sure why anyone would get 4x8GB when you can get 2x16 (unless you dont want 32GB RAM) E.g. either of these over the 2x16GB

I was able to get the GSkill cheaper than the 8 pack stuff which is why I was looking into that now after the price increase.
Doesn't the GSkill have temp sensors too?
It would be 2x16GB sticks that I would choose. I think on my search of RAM last night I did find the 3600 CL14 sticks but I can't remember if they were 16Gb sticks or 8GB.

Good you got it cheaper, I thought it cost more.
If you have it, you can check it has temp sensors. DRAM temp sensors should show in HWinfo64

I've not yet bought it as looking at G.Skills warranty, They will only authorise an RMA if its bought from one of their resellers. They place I was away to buy aren't on their list but I have emailed them.
I've also just received some e-vouchers from work but oddly the German rainforest place is an approved reseller but the UK one isn't.
