g skill trident z problem

for the first couple of hours the led's were working on both ram sticks.

i installed the aura program and then the g skill rgb program. all of a sudden only 1 stick's led's were working the other one was not.

any ideea what might have caused it?

also only one stick is showing in the asus aura.

specs: asus z270 maximus formula

16 gigs g skill trident z

i7 7700

gtx 980 ti

antec edge 550 w

Sounds like it's cream crackered.

Not installed the g.skill software yet but I've been running a set for over a month and no issues with the lighting.
