Its one of the first to market, of course it's going to have a mark up - if anyone thinks freesync is going to be different then they are deluded.

It will drop in price significantly once it's more widely available, like every other product.

I should just point out to anyone reading, that I have no clue how much they will cost, and was only making an assumption because of the mentally priced G-Sync monitor above.

lol a grand for a tn panel? fair price is 499 and even that is pushing it. But this Asus, masters of overpricing.
