G11 Keyboards media keys not working

I cant get the volume control, mute, skip track ect to work. Everything else like the g keys are working fine. I have tried re-installing the keyboard, using the software off the logitech website, which is just for the gkeys i think

anyone else have this prob??

Download uberoptions.

That should give you some more settings / keys to change their function.

i already have it, but setpoint doesnt recognise my keyboard, just my mouse

nahh didnt work, i go to start in services.msc and says it cant find the file

C:\WINDOWS\System32\svchost.exe -k netsvcs

Have tried the registry edit trick but didnt work

When i had that i tried a diff usb port, than redone the isntructions on those forums, and then it finally worked, anyhow whatver you try the goal is to get HID service running as its the service that takes care of volume, media keys etc...

im getting a raptor friday so a fresh install should sort it, well it better anyway! i dont even know why i want these media keys working cos i dought il ever use them lol :confused:
