G11 media keys not working after removing Intellitype Pro 7.0

I replaced my MS Comfort Curve 2000 with a Logitech G11. Plugged in with Intellitype still installed and media keys worked ok. Removed ITP 7 and installed Logitech latest software - no media keys but G keys now work.

Re-installed Itellitype 7 and media keys work again, remove - no media keys. Anyone got any idea how to fix it so the media keys work without Intellitype installed?

Which media player?

I use WinAmp and do not need software with Global Hotkeys enabled for example. Going to be player based I imagine.

Cheers for the reply. WMP 11 is the player. With ITP installed pressing the play button brings up WMP from desktop, with it removed none of the buttons work. Have searched WMP 11 for options but nothing. Ideas?

re-install the G11 drivers ? It should put logitechs software in place for the media keys.

Have tried all the versions of the G11 drivers and combinations but the only way to get the media keys to work is to have Intellitype installed. According to the research I have done media keys should work natively. Ho hum.
