G15 Issues

When I press the 'mute' key or slide the 'gaming' key on my G15, the keyboard crashes, I have tried in various USB ports and on other PC's, with each time, re-installing the software, the latest drivers and what not.

I have had issues with this keyboard before, regarding the backlights turning only the screen on on various occasions.

When my 15 crashes, It requires a PC restart to get working again, and the media have not worked for some-time now.

Is there anything that you would recommend doing?

Have you ever spilt anything on your keyboard? Sounds like its shorting when you switch the gaming silder to on.

Nope, never. I e-mailed Logitech support the above, and not had anything back yet.

Stick with it, Logitech support rocks. Couple of friends of mine got a brand spanking new G9x each cos thier G9 rubberised palm rest wore thin.
