I have a G15 keyboard that needs replacing. The little leg things have broken (Logitech will not sell me new ones) and the lcd screen has been smashed (I dropped a picture on it!).

I like backlit keys. I didn't use the lcd screen - it is just a gimmick (imho of course). I'd like a keyboard that can have multiple keys pressed (for gaming) - I'm not too fussed by macro buttons tbh - (I occasionally use the ones on the G15). I'd also like a nice keyboard to type on. Budget is ideally ~£100 but I could stretch to £150.

What would you recommend? Cheers :)

Anti-ghosting is the term for being able to press multiple keys. Some keyboards come with the WASD area with anti-ghosting, some are the full keyboard so keep an eye out for that.

i do like logitech support, i complained one of the plastic risers broke off and they gave me 35% off a product from there website.

I use the g15 too mate, ive dealt with logitech in the past and they have been really good. Surely if you keep sending emails asking for some legs they will send you some.

If you could, one of THESE.

Its mech', and blacklit, with 2 USB slots as well as audio/mic jacks. It is over the £100 mark, but being mechanical it will last years and years, and its currently one of the best out there :)

When they wouldn't sell me new legs they gave me a 50% coupon.
Didnt they offer you a discount or anything?

Ryan-3 I think that's the keyboard for me - thank you :)

Logitech did offer me a 50% discount on a new keyboard when the legs got broken, but to be honest, a couple of legs would only be a few quid - a half price replacement is a lot more and from an environmental point of view - throw away a perfectly good keyboard because of a couple of bits of plastic? Logitech have seriously gone down in my estimation, and I will not be purchasing their products again (even though they were fantastic and faultless in sorting out my Harmony One, this episode with my G15 quite simply takes the ****). Shame :(

That is what I have gone for, am off work tomorrow and going to be waiting for the DPD van arriving with it. Strangely I too am replacing a G15, seems they are getting a little tired at the moment!
