Bought my son a Logitech G29 wheel for the PS4 Pro, and were having trouble getting it right for games.

He has Gran Turismo Sport, Crew 2, Need for speed heat, and Project cars. Now ive read wheels are terrible in Crew 2, so we have given up on that, but the other games, are still bad.

You move the wheel loads, and the car barely moves, then it looses control and goes mental, back end out everywhere. Not really sure what to do. its not very responsive at all, and if im honest a massive let down.

My G29 works with no bother on a ps4 pro. I don't have the crew 2 or NFS heat, but I do have GT sport and I don't think it even required calibration to work as it should do for that. Have you ensured the selector switch on the top of the wheel is set for PS4, not PS3? Failing that, it sounds faulty.

The G29 and Gran Turismo Sport is far from "crap". It's not perfect, but it definitely isn't crap. Check you have everything plugged into the wheel correctly.

USB, Power, Pedals, Shifter. You shouldn't be able to turn the wheel as much as you are suggesting with FFB on.

Sounds like either a faulty unit or a setup issue.

When I got my G27 I do remember that if the wheel is allowing 900 deg rotation, sometimes things can feel very 'slow' versus a lifetime of using a gamepad. However a lot of games set the rotation down and the FFB gives you a better feel as well. My bad experiences with the wheel were always on poorly configured PC games. The PS3 and GT5/GT6 work amazing out of the box with no changes. Gutted the G27 doesn't work on PS4 frankly.
