G2play.net, cdkeys.com etc

Same used cdkeys on quite a few occassions not had problems at all. Kinguin is good too but just make sure u opt in buyer protection.

Is buyer protection actually worth it though? It costs the same for all games, so for a 20£ game then probably, but £10? £5? There must be a cut off point somewhere where it becomes not worth it.

Also, I'm a cheapskate so I didn't select buyer protection. On my 5th game I had a problem, CDkey was a dupe. Contacted customer support and they still refunded me the value of the game within a couple of days. Buying the protection just expediates this process afaik.

If you're buying from a seller with 100% rating there's no reason to buy the protection plan.

I used CDKeys the other day to buy a copy of GTAV for PC, and the installation won't complete. Says something to do with not connecting with the Rockstar Games Social Club.

I spoke to CDKeys and they said it sounds like a problem on Rockstar's side, which I hope is right but I am a little suspicious. Haven't had a response from Rockstar in over 48 hours now, bit worrying

Until Steam forces region locking on every key sold these companies are safe to use. Most of their keys are from markets where the price is set low to encourage sales from people who could not otherwise afford to buy.

CDkeys.com seem really good. They answer emails within hours, if not minutes. I have used them a few times now and all has been well.

Indeed, have used them for a lot of games. I have had one issue with The Elder Scrolls online where Zenimax emailed me to inform me my key was invalid and they were suspending my account. Got on to cdkeys and my email was replied to within 5 minutes and they gave me a full refund. Even better as I thought the game was rubbish and wasnt going to play it again anyway. Great CS on their part.

Used CJSKeys before for Fifa 15 i think it was, ages ago. Also used G2a the other day for another copy fo CSGO and both have been fine.
Also used Nuuvem for Cities Skylines without any issues but had to use a VPN to checkout (Brazilian only) so i could buy it super cheap :)

Be wary of CJs Keys - used them loads but just recently had a few dodgy keys. Their customer support is dreadful: I bought a game on Monday that came up as a key that had already been used on steam. After raising a support ticket on Monday afternoon I only just received a response and that was to ask for a load of screenshots... One of those companies where they're ok until something goes wrong.
