G5 NVIDIA RTX 3060, 16GB, 15.6" 240Hz, i5-10500H Gaming Laptop

The specs are up on the gigabyte site.

Boost Clock 1425 MHz, Maximum Graphics Power 105 W
NVIDIA Max-Q Technologies:
Dynamic Boost 2.0, Resizable BAR, and Optimus™ Technology.

https://www.gigabyte.com/Laptop/G5--RTX-30-Series/sp#sp

So that makes it a 80w base with 900hz non-boost - if it follows the table @ WCCFTECH

Interestingly that differs from OCUK spec:
https://www.overclockers.co.uk/giga...-240hz-i5-10500h-gaming-laptop-lt-0cx-gi.html

Graphics:
NVIDIA® GeForce® RTX 3060 Graphics (6 GB GDDR6 dedicated)
Power: 105W
Base Clock: 1215Mhz
Boost Clock: 1567Mhz

Does this seem like the best bang for buck for around £1,000 or is it too early to tell due to the number of different versions of the 3060?

Yes in terms of value for money based upon components this laptop will be hard to beat.

Nobody has stock and missed deliveries several times now.

It's literally like buying a lottery ticket trying to get one and retailers are taking the cash upon the order not dispatch. So your handing over cash for nothing potentially.

It's had shipping delays, but yeah it's been pushed back twice now

Seems best bang/buck though if you only care about pure performance

It's available for pre order at every retailer who has it up on their site and nobody can say when you can get one they are expecting some stock soon but that will go to people that ordered them weeks ago.

If ordering today you likley have zero chance of seeing one. I bet as soon as stock does hit prices go up so it's a lose / lose situation. Wait to see where stock appears and prices rise or order now have your money taken and possibly see no stock arrive to fulfill the order.

Is there a gigabyte rep we can speak with?

When can we expect stock to actually be available?

A competitor's site states 10 units of this laptop due in on 5th March if you pre-order now. How accurate that is and what that means for OCUK expected stock, that would be a complete guess.
I called overclockers today and they said for the first 50 pre orders are arriving this week, and the one i ordered yesterday is coming in second batch by march 8th.

Thanks however another supplier told me the same and i ordered on the 3rd feb and paid, what guarantees do i have if i place now?
Tell you what, call overclockers sale team, it takes about an hour for them to answer but if you really want it call them, see what they say and buy over the phone or from website. At the end of the say it's your choice i will update this thread if i recieve mine on or before the 8th.
