Well I have had my G500 for probably 2 years now and its a good mouse I like it as I did the G5 before it. But ever since i've had it i have had a problem with it, one which I just put off doing anything about as it works as a mouse very well and tbh I was being lazy.
Ever since I have had the mouse i've been unable to assign buttons correctly using the setpoint software, well thats not 100% true because I can actually assign keystrokes etc to the buttons but and this is a fairly big but. The mouse buttons I have assigned new keystroke too work, but they still perform the old function of Dpi/increase /Decrease on buttons 8+9 which are the actual dpi changing buttons. But also on buttons 5+10 the back and forward buttons on the side of the mouse.
So making it impossible to then use those buttons for the desired G/R etc whatever keystroke I would have liked on them because it changes my DPI at the same time.
