G7 Setpoint Software

Just had to format PC + reinstall setpoint other day, I like using my thumb button on the Logitech G7 as if it were middlemouse button, as Iv never found middlemouse button too clever whilst using wheel.. Anyway, Its giving me problems, not letting me assign it to middle, it did at first, but it still retained its back functionality, meaning it would open link in new window on firefox but then go back too =/

Any ideas?

not sure why you would want to assign it as "middle" button, its just a button ?

because middle button opens link in new tab in firefox, but the default action for the button is actually back.
Its my personal preferance, i find browsing much better with it like that.

Anyway sorted now, went back into setpoint and it decided it wanted to let me do it as soon as i had made the post

installed uberOptions which gives you more and better options to when configuring your buttons.
