G80 Users who have Call of Juarez in here!

How do you get AA on? I've put all settings to high and yet no AA =\
I'm getting pretty decent framerates so if I could enable AA that would be awesome!

You use the NV Control Panel.

Well I got it at 8xAF/4XAA and all max with shadows at low and usually around 40-80fps now, allthough when I had to blow that barn up it shot down to like 20 :\.

Has anyone tried the DX10 COJ Benchmark? I get horrible performance from it. The actual frame rate is consistently high, 20+ with everything on full, but it jumps a lot in some places and I don't know why.

In the flythrough, that part where it goes into the tree area, with the rabbit hopping past, it jumps forward like 10 frames at a time. Very strange. And it doesn't matter if I have everything on full at 1680x1050 or everything on minimum at 1024x768, it does it every time. I've even changed the settings in the Nvidia control panel, so its all off or application controlled, and still the same thing.

Anyone else having this problem, or know what might be causing it?

I reckon its an R80 issue. I never expected it to even do 10fps on my system on full settings yet it never dipped below 20. and my pc is 4 years old

A x1950pro in 2003? Wouldn't mind a go on your time machine sometime :)

When I ran the demo of this I managed 25-60 fps with it ducking and diving all over the shot. (8800GTS) although this is without AA as it won't work on the demo.

It would be interesting to find out what graphical enhancements the 360 version has.

(possibly adds some of the DX10 effects as the xenos gpu iirc is capable of some of the dx10 effects - ie its sort of a hybrid dx9.5 GPU).

I loved CoJ, one of the best games I have played.

I have a GTX and ran the game at 1920x1200 0xAA 8xAF

I demand VSync for all my games to avoid tearing, the secret to keeping frames smoother when using VSync is to force D3D triple buffering. Use DXTweaker or something like D3DOverrider (available with Rivatuner). I still had some drops to the 20's in heavy vegetation areas, but on the whole the FPS hovered around 60fps!

If I tried to run the game without the extra back-buffer support from forcing triple buffering then it was pretty much unplayable.
