I think they probably did those tests with the pre-done GPU benchmark batch file that comes with Crysis, personally I found that in game was always higher than the benchmark said, like on my old 2900XT I found the benchmark said about 30 FPS but in game it was more like 50+ most of the time.

Actually Crisis is OK near the begining and at the end its the middle part that starts to chugg FPS wise.
