GA-965P-DS3 Ethernet Controller

Regarding the GA-965P-DS3 i bought today, everything is running fine except trying to get it to work on the network is a nightmare, keeps saying after countless installs of the driver that it just cant be found or w/e

Now the next part of the problem, i have only an IDE hard drive, and with only 1 IDE slot, and no cables that reach far enough - i can only have either the HDD or the CD-Rom in at the same time, so i have not reformatted.

So the Mobo, cpu and ram have changed, is that why its giving me grief or is there anything you guys can suggest?

were did your hard disc come from your last setup?

you should always do a full fresh format if its a new motherboard

Hard disk from before was on my old rig - possible to format with a usb cd rom drive or not? because i cant connect mine without problems

if you've changed motherboard, you really *should* do a reformat and clean install. the change in drivers and stuff can be a major problem.
