Can anyone help a relative newbie? The problem is when watching a dvd or avi or divx the picture is always too dark. With WMP10 I can adjust the brightness and contrast but the colour is never right. I cannot see anything in the Bios (not that I know what to look for) so can anyone help me please?

Sound like the Nvidia driver problem again.

Try this...
open WMP 10 and then goto Tools -> Options -> Performance -> Advanced
Untick Use Overlays
this generally sorts funny colours/darkness in WMP does it happen in other apps?
see if that works?

Hi Thanks. fortunately/unfortunately overlays was already unchecked. I have the same problem in Real Player, which leads me to believe its something to do with the mobo/geforce. Problem is I just havent a clue!!
